Wagner´s Götterdämmerung at Finnish National Opera

Maiju is singing the role of 1.Norn in the Finnish National Opera´s new production of Wagner´s Götterdämmerung, which premieres on May 17, 2024, in Helsinki.

Biography

Maiju Vaahtoluoto is an up-and-coming mezzo-soprano from Savonlinna, Finland, who delights audiences with her effervescent stage temperament and her warm, rich, deep voice.

Her recent roles include Ulrica from Verdi´s Un Ballo in Maschera and 1.Norn in Wagner´s Götterdämmerung.
